WG61W is a rigid vinyl wall guard in a warm wood colour, fitted over a continuous 1.8mm aluminum retainer. Unlike solid timber, it is non-porous, 100% waterproof, and will not warp, crack or absorb disinfectant — while still giving the warm appearance of wood. It also costs significantly less than real wood and requires no sanding, oiling or refinishing.
Wood color wall guards are widely specified for hospital corridors, dental and GP clinics, senior living and care homes, rehabilitation centres, veterinary clinics, hotel corridors, schools and office fit-outs. Anywhere that needs heavy-duty impact protection but wants to avoid the clinical appearance of plain white or grey vinyl.
The wood colour runs through the vinyl cover rather than being printed on the surface, so it will not rub off, peel or fade under normal cleaning. Wipe with warm water and a neutral detergent, or use standard medical-grade disinfectants, alcohol or diluted bleach. For heavy soiling, a soft cloth or non-abrasive pad is sufficient — never use abrasive scouring pads or solvent-based cleaners.
